Vip soccer bets for Japan – Poland

One team fighting to reach the 1/8-finals of the World Cup and one team which already lost it all. This is how we could describe the clash from Group H between Japan and Poland. Let’s examine this game in our vip soccer bets.

Japan are still unbeaten after the first two rounds of the World Cup. The Blue Samurai are leading their group with 4 points won so far. The same amount of points (and the same goal difference) is having the 2nd Senegal, but the Lions of Teranga are having worse fair play stats than Japan. Colombia are third in this group with 3 points, but still with very solid chances to progress. Poland were already eliminated from the World Cup, being 4th in the group with 0 points.

Japan started the competition beating Colombia, playing in almost the whole game with a man more on the pitch. In the second round the Samurai made a 2-2 draw against Senegal. Now they are facing Poland, knowing well that even a draw in this clash will qualify them oficially for the next phase of the tournament.

For Poland this World Cup is easily forgetable. The Polish side was regarded as one of the favourites in this group, but they did not show us that they deserve such a claim. Poland lost both of its matches so far, being far away from its best days. They have scored just one goal in the matches so far, conceding five in the process. It’d be really humilating if Poland finish their participation at the World Cup with zero points.

One of the biggest reasons for Poland’s disastrious World Cup is how superstars like Robert Lewandowski underperformed. Bayern Munich’s striker scored 16 goals during the qualifiers, but he is still to find the net at the World Cup. Lewa is surely not having his best days in Russia.

Japan on the other hand showed something which we often see from the Asian teams – a lot of discipline, sacrifice and team play. Teams like Japan and Republic of Korea really know how to give their all on the pitch. In its two games so far, Japan proved to be a capable team, which is now very close to reaching the next phase of the tournament.

Despite of being leaders in the group, not all of Japan’s players are performing well. There are already some rumours in the press that the veteran goalkeeper Eiji Kawashima could sit on the bench because of not being very solid in the games so far. If this happens, the 23-years old Kosuke Nakamura is going to replace him.

According to some medias, Leicester City’s Shinji Okazaki could find himself starting against Poland, after coming as a substitute in the previous two games.

Poland on the other hand could include the central back Kamil Glik in the starting line-up. Glik was recovering from an injury. He debuted at the World Cup as a substitute during the 0-3 loss against Colombia in the previous round.

Despite the fact that Japan would be happy with a point, the team’s captain Makoto Hasebe promised that the Blue Samurai will play only to win against Poland.

Meanwhile the Polish captain Robert Lewandowski admitted that he and his teammates underperformed at the World Cup. But we already know this more than well.

These are our vip soccer bets for the World Cup game from Group H between Japan and Poland. The Asian team will try to confirm its participation at the 1/8-finals, while Poland will look for its first points at the World Cup in their last game.
